IVF Technique has benefitted thousands of childless couples at National Fertility Centre. Becoming parents (parenthood) is the greatest pleasure of life and thus procreation is considered as a basic "civil right of man" (U. S. Supreme Court) unfortunately there are millions of infertile couples who fail to procreate and thus cannot have this pleasure. Bhateri became the oldest known mother of triplets after she gave birth to two boys and a girl here on May 29. The triplets were born to her 50 years after she married Deva Singh (64). Bhateri Devi of Satrod Village in Hisar district conceived with in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) technique at the National Fertility Centre. Dr. Anurag Bishnoi, the treating specialist, told media persons here on Sunday. Bhateri conceived in the third attempt and became a mother for the first time. For the first two attempts, only two embryos were transferred in each cycle. But in the third attempt, three embryos were transferred in her uterus, resulting in the birth of three children by Caesarean section. Meanwhile, Bhateri husband Deva Singh said he had married twice after marrying Bhateri as she was unable to conceive. Though Deva Singh says his test reports were normal, the three marriages could not bear him a child. Only Bhateri stayed with him. It is the eldest wife who has made me proud and given me an heir. Old is gold, Deva Singh said with a smile.
MOTHER AT 70 :
Smt. Rajo Devi w/o Bala Ram r/o V.P.O Alewa, District Jind, Haryana (India) becomes mother at the age of 70years - She is the oldest Infertile woman in the world becoming mother at this age for the first time in Dec.2008. This has happened after 55years of marriage and 25years of secondary amenorrhea. This is an achievement for the world in general and Indian in particular in the field of reproductive medicine. Both mother and child are healthy. 75YEAR OLD SENIOR CITIZEN GETS HEIR : Sh.Kapoor Singh r/o Budian, District - Jind , Haryana (India) married twice but of no avail. Kapoor Singh 75years old and his wife 60years old Chameli contacted Dr.Anurag Bishnoi in 2007. She underwent IVF-ET and was blessed with one son and daughter in December 2007. Both mother and children are healthy. According to Dr.Anurag Bishnoi, reason of infertility may be any but if the lady has uterus, she can become mother. AFTER SON'S DEMISE, COUPLE GETS HEIR : A large number of infertile couples loose their children by various diseases and in road accidents. IVF technique has help a large number of such couples also. Hisar February 20, 2012 Bhim Singh having age 65 and his wife Krishna age 631/2 years, both retired school teachers presently residing in Rohtak, Haryana had lost their only 21 year old graduate son in a fatal road accident in the year 1995. Feeling insecure and having a desire to have a descendent both opted for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and on December 12, 2011 gave birth to a child. Retired in year 2005, both are on government Pension. It is not Bhim Singh and Krishna who have opted for IVF technique for bearing child after loosing their young in fatal accident. Other couples having lost their children in fatal road accidents in older age are also going in for IVF for bearing children as having desire to have descendants says Dr. M.R. Dharam Kaur and Gyani Ram 62yrs aged couple lost their three children one by one in mishaps. Broken by destiny, they contacted National Fertility Centre and were blessed with a child in year 2011.Gyani Ram retired from Army as Subedar and is presently residing in the beautiful city of Chandigarh. DHARAMPAL & RAMPATI Dharampal and Rampati 60yrs old couple from district Karnal conceived in second attempt and delivered a baby boy in 2011.
IVF failures - Despite failure of IVF thrice in Rajasthan Smt. Saroj r/o Abohar (Punjab) did not loose heart and contacted Dr.Anurag Bishnoi, National Fertility Centre, Hisar. Advanced IVF technique - Blastocyst culture technique was applied and only one embryo was transfered and she became pregnant and delivered one baby. It means IVF failure 2-3 times should not stop us from continuing our efforts. PRIMARY AMENNORROHEA Smt. Poonam r/o Hisar, Haryana (India) had small uterus and amenorrhea since beginning. Firstly amenorrhea was treated with medicine and she conceived and delivered two children in 8th month of pregnancy but they expired due to prematurity. In the second attempt she again conceived and delivered two male babies after nine month of gestation. Mother and children are healthy. Uterus size increases on its own after pregnancy. If abortion takes place, better results are expected in next pregnancy - says Dr.Anurag Bishnoi. WARNING TO THE PATIENTS : Do not go for IVF in Batches Ethically IVFET should not be done in camps by preponing or postponing the menses of ladies. Because rate of maturity of eggs is different in different women with the result that 4-5 days difference is in maturity of eggs is but natural. Every IVF centre should have its own team to do IVF in routine according to the menstrual cycle of the patient and not by inviting team from out side to dispose of a large number of cases in one or two days which shows irresponsibility and it jeopardizes quality of treatment which is very expensive. Government is supposed to be strict in such cases and issue guidelines for the awareness of patients. After this he went to Israel for extensive training in IVF in the Saklar University and then he updated this technique by his own efforts to International standard his efforts and commitment to the job has brought him name and fame all over the world. Because of the best results of IVF he has given in Infertile couples in advance age. National Fertility Centre, Bishnoi Hospital, Barwala road, hisar is now being recognized as one of the best IVf centre all over the world. National Fertility Centre has clinical pregnancy rates well over 60% per cycle and more than 90% cumulative pregnancy rates in three cycles. He has given better result and at the same time solved the problem of multiple pregnancies. In his interview given to BBC Channel London, he pointed out problem of shortage of funds and ignorance of the village folk. How Is It Done
In simple terms, IVf means fertilisation outside the body. After ovarian stimulation, eggs are collected from women's ovaries and then fertilised by husband's processed sperms in a petridish or a test tube in a controlled laboratory environment.
The resulting embryos are deposited in to the women's uterus by embryo transfer. If the process is successful, one or more embryos will implant in the lining of the womb and the women will become pregnet.
